When I think of March, my mind automatically goes to the color green! Green is such a wonderful color when it comes to health and nutrition. Fantastic foods like, broccoli, spinach, kale, kiwi, avocado, green beans, asparagus, lime, collard greens, bell peppers, zucchini, and brussel sprouts! So many great foods to choose from! To help you with new recipes that incorporate green foods, I have attached a couple of printable recipes for the month of March!

NEW HEALTH AND WELLNESS RESEARCH
The Scientific Study Name:
Reducing depression during the menopausal transition with health coaching: Results from the healthy menopausal transition randomized controlled trial
The Purpose of the Study:
"To determine if health coaching decreases the incidence of depression, reduces the severity of symptoms, and increases quality of life during the menopausal transition."
The Conclusion of the Study:
"Heath Coaching addressing relevant risk factors for depression during the menopausal transition improves mental health measures. Our findings indicate that women with sub-threshold depressive symptoms may benefit the most from such interventions, and suggest that health coaching could play a useful role in minimizing mental health disturbance for women going through the menopausal transition."
